Wednesday 1st June, 6.30 for 7pm
Book Launch: Philip Barclay
The Bristol Zimbabwe Association invites you to a Book Launch and Q&A’s with Philip Barclay, author of Zimbabwe: Years of Hope and Despair. As a diplomat Philip was at the centre of the tumultuous events of Zimbabwe's 2008 election. A majority voted against Robert Mugabe, but their desire for change was denied as vicious squads of indoctrinated youths launched a campaign of murder, rape and destruction. Philip’s electrifying account records the violent excesses of a hated clique prepared to do anything to cling to power. More details here

We are connected to all layers of this reality through our energy nodes and gateways, otherwise known as our chakra system. 3 chakras that are particularly strong in bridging the realms we live in are the Earth Star Chakra, the Core Star Chakra and the Soul Star Chakra. This evening will introduce & describe these vital energy nodes; activate them through meditation; and learn to work with them to bring ourselves into alignment with the abundance of life energy running through our wider energetic system.
